Education & Workforce Empowerment Programs
Our Education & Workforce Empowerment Program is built on the belief that opportunity begins with access, dignity, and support. We serve local community members through free night-time English classes designed to open doors to communication, confidence, and connection.
Beyond language learning, we walk alongside individuals as they prepare for the workforce and explore technical career pathways that can lead to long-term stability and independence. Many of our participants are working toward rebuilding their lives, and this program offers a safe, encouraging space to grow skills, gain confidence, and envision a stronger future.
At its heart, this program is about more than education it is about hope, transformation, and giving people the tools they need to change the direction of their lives.

Nutrition & Food Access Program
Our Nutrition & Food Access Program is dedicated to addressing hunger and improving access to healthy, nourishing food within our community. We believe that no individual or family should have to face food insecurity alone.
Through our Community Food Pantry, Monthly Food Distribution Program, Dining Centers, and Home-Delivered Meals, we provide consistent and compassionate support to those in need. Each initiative is designed to ensure that children, seniors, and families have reliable access to nutritious meals with dignity and care.
Beyond food assistance, this program represents stability, comfort, and hope—meeting an essential need while reminding every person we serve that they are seen, valued, and supported.

Health & Wellness Access Program
Our Health & Wellness Access Program is committed to ensuring that every member of our community—especially older adults, children, single mothers, and veterans—has access to compassionate, comprehensive healthcare and mental health support.
We work to remove barriers to care by providing access to essential health services, including physical checkups, immunizations, and preventative screenings. We also prioritize mental health support, recognizing that emotional well-being is just as important as physical health.
This program is rooted in dignity, inclusion, and care for all. We proudly offer support to individuals regardless of immigration status, ensuring that fear or circumstance is never a barrier to receiving basic healthcare services.
At its core, this program is about protection, healing, and equity—helping individuals and families live healthier, more stable lives.

WHO WE SERVE
CHILDREN

At Giving for a Change Foundation, our work begins with children because we believe that investing in their well-being is investing in the future of our communities and humanity as a whole.
We serve children by ensuring access to nutritious food, strengthening economic security, and advocating for systems that make it easier for families to meet basic nutritional needs. No child should be without the foundation of healthy food, stability, and care.
We also empower neurodivergent children through inclusive education, supportive resources, and sensory-based creative programming designed to nurture their unique strengths and abilities. These programs help build confidence, communication, emotional regulation, and resilience in a safe and affirming environment.
In addition, we provide creative arts programs for children receiving care at home or in hospital settings. These experiences are designed to bring comfort, joy, and emotional expression through art, even during the most challenging moments of their lives.
Our youth services and prevention programs are focused on keeping young people engaged, supported, and connected to positive opportunities. By offering guidance, mentorship, and structured programming, we work to keep youth away from the streets and away from pathways that lead to crime, while helping them build purpose, skills, and hope for their future.
Above all, we are committed to creating safe, nurturing environments where every child is supported, valued, and given the opportunity to thrive. We believe that when we care for children, we are not only shaping their future we are protecting the future of our communities and safeguarding the future of human existence itself.
Because when children thrive, humanity thrives.

We provide access to Dining Centers and Home-Delivered Meals to ensure consistent, nutritious food and reduce food insecurity among older adults. Through Exercise Classes, we promote mobility, strength, and overall well-being, helping seniors maintain an active and healthy lifestyle.
Our Lifelong Learning programs encourage continued education, mental stimulation, and personal growth, while Economic Assistance resources help promote financial stability and confidence in managing everyday needs.
We also prioritize connection and emotional well-being through Socialization Opportunities and Friendly Visitor programs, helping to reduce loneliness and isolation by fostering meaningful human connection.
Creative expression is encouraged through Arts and Crafts activities that support cognitive health, emotional expression, and joy through hands-on engagement.
Together, these services ensure that older adults are not only cared for, but deeply valued, included, and supported as essential members of our community.
